In sharing her story Margarita reflects on choice which she describes as one of God’s most powerful gifts to us Genesis 2:17, the fruit of life. It may have been bad choices that brought her down this journey, but God uses evil and turns into good. Her testimony is perfect for alter calls, at risk youth, women’s ministry, recovery groups, prison ministry, or a jolt of the Holy Spirit in your fellowship.

Keynote Speaker-

Crowned Ms. Wheelchair California 2013 and recipient of numerous awards for her advocacy and volunteerism in the disability community Margarita is the perfect keynote note speaker for your next event.


Over the past 10 she has learned to gain strength grow as an individual through the many transitions of life as SCI while being a single mother of 3. Every challenge has lead her to become a more powerful advocate, educator, leader, and mother. Margarita encourages her audiences to, “Just roll with it!” life has many struggles, but through Christ anything is possible.

Disability Etiquette-

Corporate, church, and community  training on how to make your services welcoming to all. Learn: History of Disability, Universal Design, People First Language,and Inclusion and how to simply see an individual as an individual despite appearance or abilityy..

Ability Awareness-

Margarita is awesome with kids! They especially enjoy her power wheelchair. She shares on a variety of topics from wheelchair dance to her own poetry. Her strongest message to kids is, “just because we do things differently and look at little different doesn’t mean we are that different at all!”

Personal Attitude-

Life with a disability especially with loss of physical use and chronic pain can lead to depression and isolation. Staying active and involved in faith and peer support groups is the only true solution. Margarita shares her struggles with depression, chronic pain, and how to stay motivated despite these challenges.
